CBRF UK- 2011 meet UP !! ...
Here's a few suggestions as to how the day might pan out.
1. Meet up at the museum at mid day, find the car park, make contact with each other.
2. Eat in the cafe
3. A stroll round the museum
4. Perhaps a ride out somewhere or to hotel
5. Check into hotel
6. Get merry
Just ideas folks but we gotta start somewhere. Throw ideas in to the pot please.
I've been looking into hotels. I definitely want to make a weekend of it.
If anyone's up for staying over it would be good obviously to find a place that can accommodate us all under one roof if possible though that may not be your preference.
We can either go for something in the centre of town which would make it easier to get to a larger variety of pubs/eateries or we can take an out of town place.
The thing is, we need to book soon as rooms are going fast from what I can see from this morning's trawl through the booking sites.
So far there's quite a few interested in the meet up so can you post up if you're intending to stay over. We may be able to get a discounted rate for a block booking.
Here's a couple of hotel links to wet your whistles.

Come on chaps.
So far only 6 confirmations of interest (That's if Z does actually come along).
We can do better than this.
I've pinged out a few emails this morning to members who may not have caught on to this thread. Let's see what happens.
I'm really looking forward to it come rain or shine.
If you'd like to PM me we can swap mobile numbers to make contact on the day.

Thank you for your info gathering Henry, the itinery sounds good to me. Possibly meet a little bit earlier so the afternoon isnt rushed although noon does give time for all (six) of us to arrive.
I dont mean to be a cheap skate but a hotel with a bed & a local pub would do for me. Then again its not often i stop in hotels so i'll go with the flow.
I think i would rather book a hotel out of the city i.e. meet at the museum then ride out somewhere then stop over.

Where you been Trout? Been for your annual smoking, like a kipper?
Then there's the new bedroom I've been working on....
But yeah... I really wish I was closer. I would definitely ride with you guys. As Steve said.... just a tad jealous.
April 16th. Why not?
We can always meet up again later in the year if anyone's up for it and I"m sure they will be.
Hotel booking time running out. Anyone got a favourite in the area?
shame you can't make it.
What needs doing?
Hehe! I've been putting a new exhaust on my jeep. Same pain in the *** as the last time I did an exhaust. I swore that I would take it to the shop "next time".

Do you dive into a phone box and come out with a cape and Kwik fit T-shirt on?
New bed room eh? I can't imagine what that's for.......
When's she due again?
Hope you're not using up the last of that lead paint that's been kicking around in the garage since the late 50's.
There's a little bit of broody home making going on in the Trout house eh?
Jealousy will get you everywhere....... oh no..... that's flattery.......or flatulence....... I can never tell the difference. All sounds the same to me!
