Cool

Daytona's are great bikes but the upkeep on them is almost twice the price of any Honda just because the parts and repairs for the Honda will be much easier to get to.

That being said I wouldn't buy anything but the 4 Jap bikes simply for the same reason. Go sit on all the bikes and pick the one you like, it may turn out that a Super Sport bike is too uncomfortable or it may be just right. That being said an interceptor 800 might be just the bike you are looking for.

p.s. I dont know if you know this but I'm kind of a big deal... People know me. =p

When weight is an issue you want something with good torque.

Wot makes it hard for any pillion & rider is the back perch, given that the Honda & Triumph are sports bikes then the pillion seat is really not a comfy proposition. It's thin padding, sets the pillion up way to high & forces them up against the rider (good for the 1st ten minutes) but the thrill wears off real quick.
There are many fine bikes that would suite you & your girlfriend, the VFR is one of them, but if my wife ever got up the courage to go riding again then my choice would be the Triumph Sprint.

I have a 600rr and I'm 6' and so is my wife, I weigh 210 and she's about 160, and we're fine on it. Though, when she rides, she gets weird bruises on the insides of her knees. Not sure why.....

Surprised nobody has said it yet, Maybe cause its a Suzuki. The SV650

I have ridden a few at work and they are awesome handling bikes with plenty of power/trq, You sit a little more straight then my 929. me being 6'1 and 240lbs i was Very comfortable

They are extremely reliable and it looks sick with the seat cowl
