I just returned from my second trip to the dragon this weekend. And despite the hit and miss rain on Saturday it was a wonderful time. Hell even the Harley riders (most of them) are nice to you down there. I would love to try and officially organize a trip of cbrforum members and others to go to the tail next year. I will leave this open as to what month what time of week would go and so on. If you have interest in going reply here and leave your vote for time of year. I've been there twice and love it. One time was in May and the other time was in September. I think September was better because the temperature was a little warmer and there wasn't any rain.

 

so is this place in NC? i saw a couple of differnt states there but was not sure.

Hey man glad you had a safe and fun time! Wish that I was able to go. =/ I'm definately game for next year, hopefully in planning this far ahead either my buddy will have his bike fixed or I'll be able to find someone from WI area to split costs on a trailer to head down there. I'm in. =)

i want to go also but im in CA and i still think its worth the bike ride to go there ! but my wallet thinks different hahah

 

I went for 200 dollars. That included diesel on the way down and sleeping and food. I camped to save some money and it wasn't to bad. If we get enough interest in this I am going to contact deals gap resort and have it put on the calender and reserve the whole hotel.
