Default Canyon Lake Bike Ride- You Goin'?

AZ riders. Riding out to Canyon Lake/Tortilla Flats every Saturday. We meet at the gas station on the Southeast corner of Ellsworth and Brown at 0600. Gas up and leave at about 0615. Great ride! Nice and cool and not much traffic if any.

See you there!

Interesting. The one reason I don't ride up to tortilla flats right now is because of all the drunks and morons towing boats.

You guys meet up at the Chevron?

BrianAZ,

That is correct.

I know what you mean about the "drunks and morons towing boats" thats why we go early.

I worked far too many motorcycle fatalities up there. It's just too easy for someone to cross the centerline and hit you head on or run you off the cliff.

How many people do you normally have in your group when you go?

Usually just myself and another guy but it looks like we could have 4 plus any from the forum. Are you going? We don't hardly have any traffic going up (maybe 1 or 2 cars) and as long as we don't get too carried awaytalking to other people and leave NLT 0730 it's not too bad coming back down. Besides, we like to try to get back home when the family is getting up so we're not missing any family time.

I'll try to make it. I just got the mount for the camcorder. I need to try it out!
