........until spring! i guess i'll add to the posts about people talking about the amazing weather we're having right now.

yesterday i went out w/ 3 friends. we rode around for probably 3+ hours....it was in the high 40's/low 50's........felt GREAT!!!! well today i rode around w/ 2 other friends (one is Slip, fellow cbrforum member) and the weather was even BETTER!!!! Today we had highs in the mid 60's! i put over 250 miles on the RR today. i started riding around 11:30 this morning and didnt finish until just now (8:40pm).

i cant believe the weather lately! now im one to ride no matter what, no matter the temps, but i couldnt take today for granted, w/ highs in the mid 60's i stayed out as much as i could and spent plenty of quality time w/ my RR . plus it was fun to meet up w/ some of my riding friends who dont really take their bikes out unless its above 45 or so. lately i've just been riding around by myself b/c our temps havent really been toping the mid 40's. so today was fun, had a blast riding around/hanging out w/ good old riding friends.

oh, and i'll add that when i sneak out tomorrow morning for a quick ride before my g/f wakes up..............i'll hit 10,000 miles on the RR, in 4 months [8D]

 

AH your lucky. i just got my cbr less then a month ago and its been nothing but rain and fog. i get in maybe 2 hours a week if im lucky.

Glad to hear you were able to get out and have a good time Jason! Mid 60's is pretty damn good for MD this time of year!! I would have done the same thing


Weather has been crap here lately.... gray, gloomy and wetfor damn near 2 weeks now. It was cold last week, then warmed up this past week but rainy all week, and foggy everyday too. We went to a movie today and came out about 4:00 or so.... misty rain and fog everywhere... it sucks!

I'm ready for the nice warm sunny days myself!

Jared, thats my goal, lol! im anxious to see how many miles i have on this RR by August (i bought it August '08). im hoping to pass the 30k that i put on the F4i w/in one year.


-edit- oh hey Jared......if you think 10k miles in 4 months is alot, lol.......keep in mind that it TECHNICALLY is 10k miles in 3 months. remember my lowside? well my RR was down for the month of Oct. over that whole engine cover ordeal. so its ACTUALLY 10k in 3 months....but we'll just say 4 , since its how long i've actually had it.
