Can of Tuna= Suck *** bike.
Ok so a few days ago my buddy bought a 06 Can of Tuna 600 for $5200.00 with only 3k on the clock. This is his first bike, but man it sucks! The older Katnana's look ok, but the newer one's look like a big bug or something. I took it for a short ride and I was not impressed at all. The bike is very soft feeling and lacks power big time. the stock rear tire looks like a dirt bike tire and it;s just over all ugly. I guess for a first bike it's ok, but I would not trade my 00 F4 with 27K on the clock for that thing.
Anyone else ride any ****ty bikes as of late?

I actually rode a cb450 and had a ton more fun then riding a can o' tuna. They really are just the worst bikes out there. What amazes me is that they still actually make them. I wouldn't even consider it a good beginner bike because it just flat out sucks ***. And im just talking about performance. Dont even get me started on how it looks.

We are all going riding this weekend so i will try to get some pix of the bike. It's a clean bike-looks like new, but it's just ugly as hell and I think the fan on my PC here makes more noise. It's like riding a big scooter. The only 2 things I like about it better then my F4 isthat it has a clock and a fuel gauge.
The Ninja 250 is not a good looking bike, but it does look better then the Can of Tuna IMO and it less money. My buddy would have got a Ninja 250, but he is like 6'.2" and over 200 lbs so it would not work for him. I really do think his bike is the worst looking bike out there right now and he had to take out a $5k loan for it. I even told him not to get it before he signed for it.

I made the same mistake for my first bike. I was on a budget and found an ad in the paper for a 1999 Katana 750 for 3,300. I bought it and did enjoy it for a while, but when other sport bikes are parked next to it... the ugliness and bulkiness really shines through. It is big and heavy... but still did its job and taught me how to ride. In fact, when i sold it the following summer (for $3,300 still, lol) and bought my 1999 F4, it was like night and day. As a second bike, the F4 is great, but i see it being a starter, too. Even at 600cc's the F4 can smoke a Katana 750.
