Thanks for all the kind words guys. It always sucks when a fellow rider, especially a friend goes down.

Thanks Got. Rdub I hope all is well and wish for a speedy recovery dorvyou buddy. Glad he was wearing his lid

Get well soon.....+1 that's some scary stuff.
|
He went home today which is great news. Still no pics of the bike but I promise to post then if/when I get them cause lets face it we all want to see them.
|
Good to hear he's at home where he can get rest in familiar surroundings. Cont'd well wishes for quick recovery.

Wow, that's crazy. Good to hear he is alive and and in at least "repairable" condition with those neck injuries. Pretty eerie, my roommate started off on an 04 gs500 and sold it to buy that exact same 2011 675LE when it was brand new. I bet he'd get a little choked up if I were to show him the bike pics once you post them (he always comments on how few blue/gold ones exist).

That really sucks. Sometimes, we make mistakes. Usually we get away with it. Sometimes, we don't. I wish your buddy a speedy recovery and hope this incident does not quell his desire to ride.

very scary pictures. Hope he will recover quick. I was careful rider before my accident but now I am much more careful. We have so many motorcycle accidents including death this year in Hawaii too. Please don't rush through yellow lights, check your ego and be safe
