Well I went back and read through the rules again and they don't seem so over the top that they can't be followed. I have noticed how civil this place is and that is not a bad thing. I just don't know if the BS thread will be considered post whoring, hmm I better find out before I continue...

the rules (more importantly, the enforcement of them) is what separates this forum from the others. i find lots of childish, insulting egos dominating the content of those "other" forums.
i don't see how post whoring in the off-topic section is possible; posts here don't impact your count. i think if you avoid religion and politics you're more than safe.
