Default The British Grand Prix ... (do not look if you dont want the result)

..so Lewis Hamilton won!! ..yeay!! :-)

Consistent rain saw nearly all the drivers spin at some stage of the race and though BMWs Nick Heidfeld produced a good drive to finish second and Rubens Barrichello was third, no one could come close to Hamilton who won his home race by a staggering 68.5 seconds.

I do have to say I really enjoyed watching that race ...

It's Fox TV's fault...aargh, they tape delayed the British race, also the two previous races, and again for Germany in two weeks. Usually their subsidiary network, Speed Channel, shows the race live...like they do Practice and Qualifying...grrr, arrgh. They think they have to sell Formula One to Nascar jocks...boogity boogity it ain't gonna work that way Dale...

They didn't even show Rubens cross the line in third, aboard the worst-performing car on the grid, a huge triumph in the wet at Silverstone...nor the post race interviews...aargh Fox TV.

Podium finish for Rubens! Acelera Rubinho!

For only his second season, Lewis Hamilton definitely has the goods. Off-track too...

Silverstone is just 127 miles from me ... I watched it live .. when they were getting rained out we were in glorious hot sunshine ..when the track was drying out we were being rained out ..it was just one of those days today.. lol ..as for Lewis how sweet life must be at that age to be doing what he does .. the ultimate high .. sigh I suddenly feel old ..lol

Good work Iceman, real professional...how much do they pay you? Fifty million dollars? A year?
