how much are the blank blu ray discs now? last time i checked (months ago) they were still like 13 bucks a piece, so not worth the effort.

I guess what I meant was that more often than not when I walk out of a theater I feel like I was robbed of my $7, so turnabout is fairplay. To take it a step further, most movies are of no value at all (since they suck so bad) so therefore, is it stealing when you take something of no value? I say no.Maybe I would feelit is wrong to steal a movieif after seeing a movie at the theaterthe Managerasked me 'Hey FishFryer, was it worth the money or can I give you your money back?' If it is good, they can keep it, if not giveme my moneyback. But since that doesn't happen and since it has been my experience that most movies suck, I say steal them, after all, they are gonna be on free television anyway sooner or later and it is perfectly legal to burn a copy then right? So what is the difference a few boobies and a curse word or two? If a few boobies and the word f*ck makes a lousy movie good then I am baffled by the whole thing and the only reason people steal movies is to make a claim about an aweful movie collection or that they are thieves.
So it's ok to steal something if it doesn't meet your standards?

I just rip all DVD's to my bank of hard drives and use my Apple TV to stream to my TV. I rent HD movies either through On-Demand, Apple TV or Xbox Live. It's a lot cheaper that way, being that there's only maybe 1 out of 10 movies released that's actually worth seeing. Everything else is usually s**t.

My opinions on downloading movies and music aside....your argument is asinine. They are gonna be free on television sooner or later?!? C'mon man, your entire rant is just a silly justification for you doing something that you know damn well is thievery.
I think it is pointless to steal movies, not something I want to do (or ever have done). I would rather rent the movie for 2 or 3 dollars, watch it once and then feel like an idiot for pissing away 2 or 3 dollars then go through the time and energy to steal something I won't watch again.
Aside from '300' how many movies can you watch more than once?

I have spent so much money in the past on crap cds for only 1 or 2 songs. Now I will download music and if it's something that I really enjoy I will go purchase the actual cd to support the artist. Is what i'm doing wrong? probably but I just cant justify spending my hard money to fill the pockets of some multi-millionaire who puts out a half assed effort on their albums. I know this thread is about movies so sorry for going off topic just my 2cents.
