RE: BIKE>FAST CAR
i'm in south FL so near south beach there are a lot of cars that will stick right next to me on my zx11, and that is far from stock, they are out there no doubt, i know of a few evos in south beach who only race bikers couse the other cars are to slow. it also depands on the area you are in, so places if it the "in" thing to have a hoped up car then you get the guys that have cars that look street legal but are far from it. we have no inspections here so alot of people have REALLY mod'd cars here.

Ok so lets say the average price of these cars you're trying to race is $30k. Just say "Well how about I put $20k into my bike so we are on the same playing field as far as money spent and then race you for pink slips." Remind them that you spent 1/2 if not even less than that for your ride and you'll still probably beat them. Then laugh, wave, pee on their car, and ride away. lol Don't really do that. Although back in the day when I wasn't a very nice person we did pee all over the Best Buy Geek Squad VW bugs at a technology meeting when I worked for American TV. We were all wasted and 5 of us thought it was a good idea. It was funny.

RE: BIKE>FAST CAR
There is a very fast civic aroound town that has a cage and stripped interior now we are speaking relative here. It may not be ferrari fast but it is probably running mid 11's and fully streetable. Last summer I was by him at a light where a lot of bikes are and the guys in front of me on bikes started making fun of him because he was revving at them and asked them to run for fun. The biker simply said you are in a car and I'm on a bike so I'm not going to waste the gas embarrasing you.

Very few cars will beat you and I doubt there the ones egging you into a race.
When I get challenged at a light, I look over rev the engine with em, get in the racing position and when the light turns green I just take off normaly as there giving it all they got. Most of the time I will meet them at the next light and let them go agian and I will pass em on one wheel (depending on traffic and area).
My buddies 67 Chevelle runs mid 11's on a good day and I give him a head start and still pass him before Im out of third.

RE: BIKE>FAST CAR
You all have very valid points. I have never seen a car even come close to me. My buddy has a Honda Del Sol with a supercharger and a shot of NOS as well, and he couldnt keep up. We then proceeded to go neck and neck at 60 mph, and then take off. He hit the nos at about 75, and twisting my throttle in 3rd through 5th, I kept up easy, and then passed him. Dont sit here and tell me that I am full of $hit, because I've ran with some pretty fast cars before, and not 1 of them came close.

RE: BIKE>FAST CAR
The older I get the slower I become...
when I was 18 I would race (in the cage) til about 148 mph. then If I hadnt won by then I would let off.
In my mid 20's till about120.
Now I barely hit triple digits, and never racing anyone.
going over 90 is for the track (which i love to do) but on the street Its just too damn risky.
