Bike Clubs

RE: Bike Clubs
when your out riding some people like to be identified as being together. when i ran my car crew we had 13 people and all sported small side window banners and it was nice pullin up to a place and all of us were "affiliated" with one another.
this has carried over to our bikes now. and i never thought about getting permission but i have asked one of my friends who is in a major crew some questions but he hasnt gotten back to me yet. we are just a bunch of friends who ride together and want to be recognized as being apart of somethign and not just another solo rider.

+1, we are like a family and know that we can turn to one another if we need something.. and its nice to show up somewhere with 30+ bikes together.. we have a set ride every sunday and have cookouts, dances, parties and hit up most of the big event rides.. plus with having chapters you can take a vacation go and visit them and have a place to stay..
i guess its where you are from because i know up here about 90% of riders are in a club..
--another thing about the permission thing--thats why alot of the sportbike clubs have just the one solid patch (which is fine) then there is no hassle or confusion
heres a pic of our cookout, a day at the stripand a ride..

Asking permission! Screw that. I’m not thirteen anymore. Ill do what ever the hell I want.
Oh! And I’m not trying to be rude or anything. Just my opinion.
Sorry to any Ruff Ryders for the spelling errors.

RE: Bike Clubs
A club can be good for lots of things we work together when one of the members goes down. we all help to pick him or her up, not just at the scene but in the months following. we are working on getting some of the local shops to give a club discount... still going through some final stages of that.... if its well organized then you can have fund raisers for something other than your self..(a good way to give sport bikes a little bit of positive attention) recruit new riders and give them a positive role so they can learn that the street is a bad place to play dumb. our club also has a bike night Every Sat night started with just a few of us now we have 25-30 people come weekly...and its only about 4 months into it.... its not a gang its a club of like minded riders that believe that we can do something to bring a better image to sport bikers.. we may not reach everyone but there has been a positive response with the local police that we are doing something good..
