Default Biggest thing I learned about motorcycles...

is that these things are not weather resistant. Had mine for almost 2 years now, sitting outside. Don't have a garage or something to park it under. Man I hate seeing it get in the shape its becoming. It is a 9 year old bike but still. Plastics are cracking, screws are rusting, paint is fading, dirt and grease in the nooks and crannies. It sucks cause I can't really do anything about it. Can't even wash it because theres no outside hose. Don't have the money to make it look pretty cause I'm in college. Can't really store it anywhere cause I've been without a car for 2 years, I ride this thing everywhere all the time. Its like father time is raping my bike in the *******.

Cant get a cover for it?

Also, a fairly cheap alternative to a garage is a tool shed. They sell as packages pretty cheap at home depot or Lowes.

something like this

or this.

that's kinda the catch 22 about having one while in school...i only got mine just before my last semester. look on the bright side, you actually have one while in school and when you get out you'll be able to either fix it up or get a new one.

Well irony just struck me. About an hour after I made this post I went to go to my friends house to play Halo online. Well, some crap go into my chain while I was on the road. I think it was that crap that comes off 18 wheeler tires. My transmission is seriously ****ed up now. I heard this load pop and then it was like BAMBAMBAMBAMBAMBAMBAM and I could smell smoke. I pulled over and loaded my bike into my friends truck. I might have to end up getting rid of it now depending on how bad it is.

Fill a bucket up with warm water from the sink maybe?

And I don't think it was irony, I think it was karma for treating your bike like s***
