So I had to make my own dinner last night (wifey usually cooks when she is home and not at work). I fixed me up the tastiest sandwhich ever. Here is what I did:

We had some thin cut Ribeye, which I lightly seasoned with salt, pepper, garlic salt, and Montreal Steak seasoning (both sides). Cooked it up medium rare to perfection. We also hada cracked wheat sourdough loaf. I made a mixture of extra virgin olive oil and balsomic vinegar. I brushed that onto the bread, added a fresh basil leaf to each slice, and grilled it on the 'que. Then I added some Asadero, Monteray Jack, and Cheddar cheese (shredded cheesepackage) to the outcome. It was stupid good! I can't wait to add sauteed onions and mushrooms to the sandwhich...maybe a slice or two of avacado, and/or tomato. Try it out, my friends...it is heavenly! I am really starting to love cooking. It is an artform thathas no limits. We have had some recipe threads before, and I am curious about some of your sandwhich recipes or any other good recipes that you would like to share...
