I'm sorry to heat that. RIP to your friend. Losing loved ones suck, but the important thing is that they touch your heart enough to make you realize how precious things are in life. Be careful.

 

I'll raise a glass to fallen homes from the past present and unfortunately future . just remember you may not chose when you crash but can chose to use things that when it finally does happen you'll be prepared.
My self, a buddy i ride with who had like 20 years of experience (he was 34) just died he was riding no more then 3 blocks from his house with a busted head light obviously at night when a jeep side swipped him he died on impact
The way I see it the day I dont wear my 500 dollar jacket and helmet will be the day i crash
now lets all raise a glass for those who have fallen

 

really sorry to hear about your friend's accident but please pretty damn please ALWAYS wear a helmet !


i went down after a hit-n-run earlier this month going abt 65 mph - legs flailing, butt sliding, elbow scraping for a good 25-35 feet
when i got up, my elbow and thumb were rashes (and a **** load of blunt trauma on the inside) but i was lucky to escape relatively unscathed coz i was geared w/jacket, gloves and lid

then i took off my helmet (cheapest full-face on ebay) and saw 3 tiger claw sized scrapes on the visor ... i have no doubt that i'd look like Kano outta Mortal Kombat if not for the lid !

 

RIP for your friend. I was in Fl this past weekend and saw many people withour helmets thinking it looks cool....it will not look cool with staples in your skull if you live though. Let's be safe even if the law isn't.
