Default been in an accident

i knowww i knowwww i just got my bike back and fixed.... ugh!!!

i'm fine, no broken bones, just a couple of cuts on my hand and arm from broken glass, bruises all over.. hit my head pretty good and my body broke through their rear glass, i rolled over the car onto my feet. couldnt remember the accident right after it happened. they say someone cut them off and jammed the brakes, though i still think that would mean i was following too closely, ehh.

no ticket

fairings= all bad ehh, no big deal
forks need to be replaced..

about it...

btw, this happened lundi gras.... this is the 2nd freakin year i missed mardi gras day because of some stupid ****. oh well, thank god for gear.

wow glad your ok sounded like it could have been realy bad. i know how it feels to lose a bike when you just got it. i had mine a month and it was totaled.

i cant belive you broke through a window and went over the car and dint break anything. i hit the back of a car, well my bike did. i dont think i hit the car, and i had a broken hand and was in hospital for 5 days. your lucky.

i always wounder what i would do if i went through someones window becuase of something dumb they did. i mean if i stayed in the car and was consious i would probley hurt them

do you know about how fast you were going?

nah no pics yet. im sure my dads got some, he came and got me from the overpass it happened on. i've got the front end off the bike right now, the broken forks are the only things keeping the bike from being streetable again. that and the engine wont turn over, but i'm fairly certain thats going to be something simple to fix.

one good thing: i really hadn't spent any money fixing her yet since before the crash, i did all the fairing repair and exhaust fixing myself with my own tools. this time im pretty sure i screwed all the fairings, but the bike itself is gonna be ok soon.

yeah you dont realize how fast that is intill you hit something that fast.

i wrecked at like 35-40 as i was going off the bike the ground was moving so fast. when i got in my car latter on i was doing 35 and looked out the side window at how fast things go by and imagned hitting something at that speed. ooch

i hit a tree at 50 mph[8D] DOH!
that stung a little..

anyways.. about the engine not turning over..are your headlights attached?

i had that problem..spent hours trying to fix my engine..and it turns out the crash relay is in the head lights..i figured it was in the computer box and never even thought to look at the lights..anyways just thought i would try and help.
