Saturday night didn't go all that well for me. I decided to go out with some friends for the first time in a while. The night went pretty sweet, and I got nice and happy. But at the end of the night I was on my way out of the bar and I saw my friend had some guy in a headlock. I'm not a fan of fighting so I go over there and try to break it up, and SMACK! right in my face. The dude's girlfriend hit me right in the eye with her bottle of beer. The bottle broke and gave me a nice deep cut on my face and a black eye. The two ran off right after that. Cops came and talked to me, told me to go home and clean my face, and put some ice on it. They acted like I was the trouble maker. So i'm mad about it. Thats it. Got a bottle broke over my face for keeping the peace. Does that sound like a cool night to anyone?

 

Bottom line, if you ever get in a fight at a bar, you are going to be treated like a trouble maker; pretty much regardless of the circumstances. We got into it a few weeks ago down town, some 'gangstas' wanted to throw down, so we did. We tried to avoid it, but when they ran back in with fists up we started throwing.

Good thing you only got a cut on your face and not a missing eye, that would have really sucked. That is pretty ****ed up though.

 

Yeah, someone hitting me in the face was the last thing I expected. So glad my eye is fine. It's multicolored but fine. The cut itself is only a half inch away from my eye, and it's deep. I agree could have sucked much worse.

Sorry to hear that. That's one reason I don't go to bars much. I would have ripped taht chicks hair out. Glad you ok and use vitimin E oil on that cut to reduce the scar.

See this is what i just dont get....Why do people always use weapons? I mean im only 25 but apparently im old school. like pops always said to use your fists. WTF is wrong with people...as far as im concerned thats assault with a deadly weapon. I just cant get it i guess and all the fistacuffs i have ever been in have been just that fists feet and knees...the way it was meant to be. take care of yourself and no worries you may see them on the flipside.

 

Sounds like a typical night out here in Newcastle!. Yeah it sucks when you try to do something decent & get creamed for your effort. I once stepped in on a fight between this guy & his wife/girlfriend & got the **** kicked out of me by his friends & then got "escorted" out of the place by the bouncers, that suddenly appeared from hiding.
There is so much of this stuff happening over here, that they have introduced laws, that Publicans (Bar owners) can only sell booze in plastics glasses after 10:00pm, to try & curb the amount of facial injuries that are happening from pissheads getting into fights & wanting to shove a beer glass in your face.

 

kinda teaches you to sit back and watch somebody's *** get kicked next time doesnt it?

 

Last fight I broke up I ended up getting punched in the face and the one that hit mewas the guy I knew. I ended up throwing him into a wall and had him by the neck so it worked out, because his back hurt worse them my face LOL! I never liked that guy anyways.
