Proof that the officer was operating his vehicle outsideof theirability to control it. Were that you or I, it would be us facing a wreckless driving violation. That officer caused the crash, most likely due to his inexperience (I'm guessing he's young, why else would he be doing a **** job like traffic patrol) and his testosterone took the wheel. He should be at the least reprimanded, discharged is the better scenario. Open for litigation by the real victims in this incident, which were the cage drivers.

How did the rider swerving cause the officer to hit the other car? Fleeing is and should be a felony, but the officer's incredibly poor judgment is what caused him to hit the other car. And how do you define crotch rockets? If I replace my clip-ons with apehangers, does that exempt me from the ban?

I think you're right that this guy is just posturing, and trying to get his name in the papers. But maybe the AMA and motorcycle manufacturers need to start buying up some politicians like the gun lobby does.

The thing is..all the details coming from the police report and department aren't the least bit cogent.

No mention of why this rider was allegedly a "felon" before pursuit even began still is unknown. (Dept. cover-up? Naaa...never happens)

And yes...it's the politicians who really **** one off.

(Maryland is one sorry *** state anyway...did I mention that already? It's full of Kennedy loving liberals and tree hugging dreamers as it is.)

(Now there is an entire family who is just full of felons..the Kennedy's...rapists...murders...good ol' Ted himself whom most days can be found passed out drunk in the Senate)

I'm really getting sick of these threads about evading, and cops, and people dying. You have two sides...the people who don't like cops, and the people who are cop sensative, and one will never convince the other...period. It is like pro life vs. pro choice. I want everyone to consider one thing, though. If the person never ran in the first place, there would be no chase...I think that is a very simple equation. Kind of reminds me of a+b=c. If the guy never ran, there is no question about whether or not the cop was driving beyond his skill set. If the guy never ran, there is no fat *** senator wanting to ban sport bikes. If the guy never ran, there are no innocent civilians getting rammed from behind by an overzealous officer.

So, to review:
Punk-***-crack-head-scum-bag-squid-******* decides to evade the police, prettyboy-rookie-chip on-his-shoulder-something-to-prove-officer engages in a pursuit, innocent-white-family-in-their-minivan-on-their-way-to-churchgets hit from behind and everybody dies to include an infant and baby kitten. Think about dominoes...what is the first domino...the ******* on the bike that decided to run.

There is no way that they will be able to ban sport bikes ormotorcycles.Lets say that the law makers ban selling anything more than a 600cc.We know that any 600cc bike can run 140 to 150 mph.So these bikes still can run faster than any crusiers.I promise you that we will have more cameras at the intresections and hwy's.Also the tags are gonne get as fugly as Euorean ones.

 

An individual's mind is the weapon. The tool can be anything. Banning cycles just adds to the influence of such negative actions.

There is motive behind this story. The press only knows that which they hear.

 

Another jackass on a bike evading the police and causing public dismay, thus further pushing our reputations further into the s**t it's already in.
