You're in my prayers, JD. I know it's already been said, but for God's sake get a different doctor and let us know how you're doing if it's not too much of a strain.

99% you wont win a case agaisnt the doctor...

70mph on an icy road doesnt sound like the smartest idea, accident PRONE.. more like accident bound... should of figured 70mph in bad weather is not too bright.

Guess it is a compression fracture..Hurts like hell. I so wish i didnt tell a doctor about how i may be addicted to pain meds. Its been like a month. I think im ok now. Its just lame because now i cant get them even when i really am hurt. I guess i can go buy some heroin. But basically they gave me motrin and said take a hot bath. Oh well..Im gonna start drinking now. That should help.

Ex wife used to tell me not to travel with a full bladder, because it could result in a ruptured kidney which called cause you to go septic.

Get it checked out. Hopefully the Doc was right.
very true, with it being hard to pee it may be something other than just kidneys... there are the urters and the bladder that come into the equation espec when its a trauma like going from 70 to nothing in hundred feet or so. i hope the best for you. and i hate rubberneckers too
