The break-away design is good for racing but if I did lay my bike down and scratched the levers up, Id replace them anyways. Sweet levers, Id buy them. Next time.

But if you went down they wouldnt break, allowing you to still ride the bike while you could get new ones. So its good for street too.

I think these are TOO adjustable. First, I'd never find a need for a height adjustment. Breakway I can understand - they're meant to avoid damage in a crash. But if I want to adjust height, I just adjust the position on the bar. As for the length adjustment, I'm more okay with that, but I can't imagine very many people will actually want an adjustment that's in between shorty or standard. And how stable are those little screws going to be?

i tihnk they are cool but i can agree with possibly being to adjustable...

i would say that they probably do somewhat sacrifice durability with adjust-ability....

like stated the adjustment screw wont last forever, and if the levers were adjusted to full length and the bike fell there is a pinch point there the two parts of the lever meet up that could bend

all in all if i order a set ill prolly still order just the solid levers in shorties, save myself some money, and have just as good of a set of levers
