Actually X you almost blew it. You have never in your life here made so many +1 posts etc. You were way out of your normal element, but i was laying so low i didnt want to come in and pop you on it.

For those of you that are pissed ... so be it. We never claimed to be able to please everyone all the time. If you have issues I got tissues. The mods came up with this clever little plan and I approved it and will take full responsibility for it. If that troubles anyone then by all means PM me but there will be no more airing it out in the forum. That's what the whole thing was about. If you have any questions go back and read the first post in this thread ... splains it all.
We are not out to quash ideas but we do plan to steer CBRForum towards what it used to be ... and that is more bike related content. The whole 'Its winter and we are bored' thing is crazy ... if you can't ride ya oughta be moddin them bad boys out. Or big ticket maintenance. Just a thought.

I myself , because I have only qualified you might say, experience with the CBR1000F, , can only really get other discussion going or participate in the Off Topic board to a degree..
So I am a bit guilty myself from taking this CBRForum away form the main point of this Forum ...CBR'S...
To this end I would like to remind some of the welcome crew knockers , that we do that because it is a way of doing something good for this Forum.. other than just having fun..
Our tags even get the point across to the noobs that we are a Forum that takes new members seriously and that we care enough to have a group dedicated just to that ...
You will have noticed that me and Pete and Tex along with others provide a welcome ...info links and specific info , directions around the boards , comments on the noobs rides and any relevant comments on specific noobs issues .....
This is a plan as well to give noobs a good start ..It does seem to happen by its self most of the time..
and yer we do get a little hijackish within those welcome posts as well , with our fun and games ....and this is also deliberate , to try to make noobs feel like this is a good fun place to come back too..
We all feel that participating like we do in the welcome crew is very worth while ....even if some see it as just whoring ???
The point I think is that we all should try to focus on things other that all the banter within the Off Topic fun threads...
I do belive that the personal problems that are posted in Off Topic are very worthy of our time and I see no problem with those threads ..at all .. I always try to give those thread a good chuink of effor if I think I can be of help in them..
All in all , I say again ..Stretcher is dead right ...the boards should lean back more toward the riders , the bikes and less towards the general fun and games topics that do seem to dominate the Off Topic Board..
