Default Anyone ever take their pets for a ride?

I recently got a hamster and I'm already looking for a small travel cage I can strap down onto my bike.

1st pic is of a guy that takes his dog everywhere. Although its not really legit here to do it, I can't see anything wrong with it as long as the animal is comfortable & as safe as they can be riding on a bike.
2nd one is from an aussie bike magazine.

When I was a kid I had a pet rat that rode on my bmx bike with me. He would sit on my head, shoulder, or grab the foam pad that covered the handle bar.

In winter he would ride in my jacket sleeve/inner pocket.

On a bike I would go for a small tank bag that it could hang in.

I got a lil mini Dachshund that rides on my bike with me. I have one of those front holder bags like what women use for ther babies that i strap to myself then stick him in. i didnt know if he would like it at first but he seems to love it so i take him as much as i can, mostly just short rides. I got the idea from my dad who used to take his dachshund on his harley with him.

I had heard a story about a guy who had his dog ride on the tank. He covered the tank with carpet so the dog could grip it with it's claws. I'd thought about sticking my dog in a backpack but I'm afraid he'd try to climb out, or the zipper would open more and he'd fall out.

After doing a quick google search to find out if it was illegal to carry a pet in Cali. I found this interesting site that sells motorcycle pet gear. The site is a bit pricey but I thought the K-Noggles were pretty cool.

The bag that i have to put my dog in has 4 lil holes in it for his paws to stick out and has a lil leash thing attached to it so even if he did try to climb out he couldnt. He never does though always just puts his front paws on the tank and sticks his head to the side so he can catch the wind lol
