I just got that one about 20 minutes ago. I imagine everyone of us will get it eventually...

 

Maybe we could get the Mods to check who's joined in the past few days............and call Hardcorp to gouge out their eyes and skullf.....'em.
I soooooo hate spam - despite all the filters, and the firewall, and all the rest, they still get through. There was a program developed a few years ago which isolated these guys. I think it was called "Bluemonkey" or somesuch - anybody know anything ?

 

I hate spam too because I don't understand what the makers are trying to accomplish by it, do they really think that people click on those things expecting them to be legit? It's an uphill battle against the stuff and no matter how much new mail I mark as spam it just keeps coming and coming, on average I get about 10 spam letters a day that make it into my inbox.

I have never heard of any programs that block spam but I do remember a law that was passed a few years back to regulate it, so much good that did.

 

I wouldn't so much call it spam as it is unsolicited advertising. It's a company in China trying to sell their products to their market. Granted they don't go about it in a very good way, it's a lot better than getting enlarge your ***** emails.

I just realized how stupid this sounds, considering the definition of spam is "an unsolicited e-mail on the Internet." I meant more along the lines of a-bit-too-direct advertising, which is not the best idea for that form of retail.
