I think they look comfy as hell, but they don't fill the need I have to get jiggy. I'dlike get something like this, though:

I'm not a fan or a hater. A few of my friends (that ride sportbikes) like them, one of my good friends has been drooling over a new Yamaha cruiser (while I've been drooling over his 07 R6 lol).
I know I don't have any use for a full on sportbike on the street but I'm not to the point of wanting to buy one. My Duc Monster is as close as I could get, I could see myself on an SV1000 or a VFR in a few years but I don't see buying a cruiser for a long time (if ever)
I'll never own a Harley though, I have no interest in getting anything more impractical and overpriced than a Ducati lol

I need to "borrow" one of my parent's '05 Low Riders sometime and have the HD experience sometime. Overall they look too much like Baby Boomer bikes, and way too damn much chrome to buff out everytime you ride... (I slaved away helping clean up myMom's before getting my Endorsement...)
The day I told her I got my license she comes back with "Don't think you're gonna ride my bike". - Oh well, pushed me into getting my F4i before the riding season was complete toast. (I'm still hoping to get a ride or two around town sometime in December if the snow stays away!)
