One thing i couldn't stand on voyager and the newer ones, is all the peace and understanding. Eg Aliens are trying to eat us, but thats ok thats just their way and we can't interfere. Where in the original Kirk would not only kill them but make love to there women lolol

It´s Trekkie or Trekker...depending on which Captain you hold allegiance to. lol
I will be there in May, but if the actor who plays Kirk is anything like the snot-nosed baby that played Anakin Skywalker...I am beaming out. lol

I never cared for the tv shows, but the movies we're ok, watched them whenI was younger cause my dad liked them. I think this new one looks bad *** though, just wish they would have gotten rid of those super nerdy shirts that they are all wearing.

I was kinda the reverse of what it seems people are here. I disliked the original series. Don't get me wrong, it's got it's good moments, but I just didn't like the style, the annoying "beep" and stuff in the background, all that. I got into it the most with STTNG and DS9. My wife recently purchased the Next Generation boxed dvd set and I've nearly finished it. I liked it quite a bit.
As far as the movies go... they're okay. I always liked the shows best... but it could be just because there are a crapload more of them. [&:]
