I will admit that I am. I just bought their new album, and I am sorry to say that it is not all that impressive. I only bought it because I feel that I am obligated to do so since I have all their albums. I guess I am more of an old-school AC/DC fan. Basically I like everything up through the Back in Black album and that is it. This new album is like the last one they released, and it only really has a few good songs. That is all.

 

I'm a fan of em dude. Disappointing to hear that the new album isn't that great but I'll always have their old stuff

 

I bought it the day it came out. Firstly I was disappointed that it was a WalMart exclusive deal. I mean, come on, they could cram a polished turd in a cd case, slap their name on it, and it'd sell 10 million copies.
I think the whole cd has 3 songs that are actually pretty good. Obviously, being AC/DC the expectations for this album are probably pretty high, and I guess if you can overlook that, on the whole its not that bad. Through listening to it all I kept thinking about how it sounded so overproduced. I think entirely too much studio engineering went into making the album and after a while it just starts to sound generic.

 

Like I said before, I really like their old stuff, and I will continue to listen to it.

I dont know how you can have huge expectations. They are old, the have not made an album ina long time. If its even good you should be happy.
