Default Another wheelie, another ticket...

So, i've recently just learned to wheelie my F4 and it has been nothing but bad news. I've been riding for 3 years and didnt start messing around with the one wheel crack addiction until only 4 months or so ago. They are fun, i feel in control, and so i kept doing it when i happened to be on an empty straight road.

A few months ago i cluctched one up and was pulled over by an unmarked black SUV. He gave me a reckless driving ticket, but when i went to court they knocked it down to improper handling and i was slapped with a $300 fine. After surviving that ordeal and getting away with not much of a penalty you would think i'd have learned my lesson, but no...

Last week i threw up another wheelie and was once again nailed by an unmarked cop. This time in a white sedan. Since my other ticket, the reckless driving laws in VA have skyrocketed and i thought i was going to be f'ed in the @$$ for this one. Again, i got lucky, though. The cop told me that he was only going to write me up for loss of control, which is a pre-payable ticket and not one where i have to go to court.

*sigh* I know now that wheelies are considered reckless driving, but goddamn if it isnt an awsome rush to do. I have friend who have been wheelie'ing for years and have never been pulled over and now i have twice in4 months, what a bummer. I have no one to blame but myself, but i really dont think i'm going to stop doing them... i'm an addict, help.

Perhaps you've been unlucky, but I think your issue is in the "empty" part of the story. Empty roads have NO cars, therefore NO unmarked cop-cars.

Enjoy your wheelies, and be safe.

^^^Yep! Have fun with them... But stop doing them around cars! The odds are not in your favor.

Yep make sure its really empty, heck ya never know if the old lady behind ya has a cellphone and dialing 911 right now. You ride the same road long enough there will be a officer there waiting for ya. Like vp said, find a lot, or take it to the boonies.

better than where i live, they will take ur *** to jail for wheelies. me i did it around town but i practiced and learned new wheelies around warehouses(alot of straight roads that are never traveled during work hours). try to find a warehouse area and do it during work hours, or hell just run from then when they try to pull u over!
