Another rider lost today
Man when will it end....
Just got news a lil while ago, another guy from our local south florida group passed away today. I wasn't with him when it happened, he was riding with another group on a group ride this afternoon. This happened on the way back. Apparently he missed an exit, then took another offramp and mis-negotiated the curve, hit the wall and flew over the edge and landed on the embankment below. He died on impact. He was wearing full gear
I was just with this guy last night..... he was sitting right next to me eating dinner at the moonlite diner where we all hang out every friday night... kind of our own private bike night. I didn't know him real well... only met him a few times, but regardless it still feels just the same. He's been on our forum for some time but didn't have a bike for awile cuz money was tight. He was finally able to get one, a Suzuki SV650S, which I believe he just bought a few weeks ago and was very happy to be riding again. Then this happens... I guess it was just his time to go. He was around 37 years old, no wife or kids that I know of.
RIP Greg.... you will be missed My prayers are with the family
Please people, be careful out there!!! You don't realize how fragile life is until you see it taken away in an instant.... this makes #5 now for me

A motorcyclist was killed Saturday night after wiping out near Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport, police said. The man was riding a 2002 Suzuki south on a curving, elevated entrance ramp leading into the airport before he lost control and hit a concrete barrier, said Broward Sheriff's Office spokesman Mike Jachles. The accident, which occured just after 7 p.m., propelled the biker over the barrier and onto northbound Federal Highway, 48 feet below. The biker, whose name has not been released pending notification of relatives, was pronounced dead at the scene.Last year, a similar accident on the same off ramp involving a Geo Tracker killed all three of its passengers, also ejecting one of its victims onto Federal Highway.
