stretch,
with your 1000, your in a better position to take him on,

i have my suspect though, and if its who i think it was, he's on top of his racing game, and was out for a blast on our local roads.........

no wonder i felt silly.

Time to do some track days, meet the guy, get some pointers, and learn how to keep up

Aken, if its who i think it is, i know him well, he is one of the beat road racers in the world.
also, i race so i kinda know my way around a track.
But we were not on a track, we were on the roads. totally different.

I need to get my friend with his 04 R1 to do some learning, had his bike for 4 years still afraid of gettin even remotely low into a corner, he spent thousands of dollars on a race exhaust, intake, programmer with dual program switch so he can run race fuel or switch it to street mode for normal gas all so he can go fast in a straight line, its sad cause i still pulled away from him on my 1krr with a slip on, intake and programmer lap-top tune. He wasnt very pleased especially once the road got curvy and he was just a spec of dust in my rearview. Im trying to get him to go do a track day with me to hopefully help conquer his fear of cornering and do some learnin.
