Congrats, that's really sweet! I say if it resets after 100K, sell it as a brand new bike! ... not really, that would be immoral...

That's really cool! What kind of service has been done on it in all those miles, out of curiosity?

It should read 99999, then 00000 (there's only 5 digits on the digital odometer display.). You never know though, you might hit 100,000, and while you are riding, confetti might start shooting out your exhaust and fireworks from the intakes.

I am curious about your maintenance schedule as well. I'd ride on Saturday the 11th until I hit 100k. When did you buy it?

that is pretty impressive. are you the first owner? also you need to change ur sig now to read 100,000!!
jonBrown
also has it been laid down ever? or dropped? if not that might be a world record lol
mines almost there w/out bein dropped eh err. 93,000 to go lol
Yup I'm the original owner... bought it new back in Oct. 2004. It has been down, several times. 1st was a pretty good crash on the highway back in August 2005. That was the worst one, did about $6000 damage to the bike, but luckily I walked away with only a small scrape on my knee. Then I got rear ended by an 88 year old in a Benz in March '07, then about 2 months ago I hit a crapload of sand in the middle of a 15 mph curve at about 25 mph and went for a lil slide.
