I've had that happen to me as well and I totally freaked out but luckily I was able to get it free before I crashed. Now I always put my legs out before I come to a complete stop just to be sure they are not caught as I go to put my foot down.

Good save!!! You find strength that you dkidmt know you had.
I almost dropped my BB in my shop one day when I got home from work I put the sidestand down but it was not all the way down and I started lean over and the bike was not stopping........ :-0 I had a quad on my lift at the time which was about 2 ft away from me. I managed to muscle it back up just before it hit the liftand was completely on its side. Tallow about pissed!!!!! I double check all the time now.

^^^ I did that, ha ha in my case, I drop it in my parking lot. I was going to leave and I push the bike out of the stall. (note: I don't walk back on my bike) And I see cars waiting for me to go. So I rushed and I thought it was out completely, but It wasn't. I went to get on my bike and bike just fell. That was embarrassing. Like slowride, I double check every time now

I almost drop my bike after getting the safety check last week. This safety inspection guy converted his house as a shop, and has downhill short driveway. When I pushed the bike back down, I told him to stop me. And when it was done, I tried to start and go on his driveway, but I had little problem lifting the bike to the right side to kick off the stand. So he pushed me to the street. After he left, I took about 2 steps more, and I was holding the bike with my left hand only to put the kickstand out. Bike started lean towards the right for a sec. I managed to pull it back to the left with one arm. I know it doesn't seem too much for you guys, but it takes more effort for me to do simple thing like getting on the bike.
