Almost dumped my bike

Going exactly Zero miles an hour.

turned out of my parking garage and went to the first stop light.... Went to put my left leg down and woah!! :icon_omg:

My leg is stuck!!

Apparently the heel guard had gone up my jeans (I was not wearing my normal shift riding jeans which sit lower).

So I managed to get my leg off before I fell all the way down, I pulled the clutch in, had a nice handfull of gas going too - one leg squated down with the other still over the bike.

Luckily I am a fugging beast and I managed to get my other leg under me and pull the bike up without her touching down at all.

Then 20 minutes later I got stuck in the rain :icon_no: But hey - all things considered a successful outing.

This is why I wear slim fit jeans and not boot cut. Man you were lucky being tall. If that was me, I would have def dropped her.

Lucky bro! i dropped mine in my bro-in-law's driveway - got my shoelace looped around the kickstand while trying to back it up a hill. I was lucky to get my leg away from the bike before she hit the ground.

I've had that happen to me as well and I totally freaked out but luckily I was able to get it free before I crashed. Now I always put my legs out before I come to a complete stop just to be sure they are not caught as I go to put my foot down.

Good save!!! You find strength that you dkidmt know you had.
I almost dropped my BB in my shop one day when I got home from work I put the sidestand down but it was not all the way down and I started lean over and the bike was not stopping........ :-0 I had a quad on my lift at the time which was about 2 ft away from me. I managed to muscle it back up just before it hit the liftand was completely on its side. Tallow about pissed!!!!! I double check all the time now.

^^^ I did that, ha ha in my case, I drop it in my parking lot. I was going to leave and I push the bike out of the stall. (note: I don't walk back on my bike) And I see cars waiting for me to go. So I rushed and I thought it was out completely, but It wasn't. I went to get on my bike and bike just fell. That was embarrassing. Like slowride, I double check every time now

I almost drop my bike after getting the safety check last week. This safety inspection guy converted his house as a shop, and has downhill short driveway. When I pushed the bike back down, I told him to stop me. And when it was done, I tried to start and go on his driveway, but I had little problem lifting the bike to the right side to kick off the stand. So he pushed me to the street. After he left, I took about 2 steps more, and I was holding the bike with my left hand only to put the kickstand out. Bike started lean towards the right for a sec. I managed to pull it back to the left with one arm. I know it doesn't seem too much for you guys, but it takes more effort for me to do simple thing like getting on the bike.
