Default all work and no play makes jason......

go fk'n crazy! i got to work this morning.......SATURDAY morning at 4am!!!!!! i woke up at 2:45 damnit, lol. i want to be at home in bed.

what kinda work schedules does everyone have and whatcha do? i work 6 (sometimes 5am) - 3:30 mon-fri........and if im busy enough or need the extra dough i come in on saturday (where im at now [:@]). so i basically work 6 days a week doing sheetmetal work (HVAC). i tell you what, i LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE sundays though, thats my only day to sleep in. but sometimes the neighbors two little beagles interupt that. i think i'll take some snips and cut a tiny hole in her fence and set their noisy a**'s free, lol.

I'm a manager at a retail pharmacy (Walgreens - the pharmacy America trusts since 1901). I don't work at a 24hr store, thankfully. There's basically 4 shifts I can work: 6am-4pm (truck days), 7:30a-5p, 10a-7p, or 1:45p-close, which is usually 11:30p. I'm still hourly, and I'm going to have 102 hrs on my next paycheck. We have inventory next month so I've been working my *** off. Man, that's gonna be FAT!

At work at 4am?!?!? Damn that sucks!! I could never get up that early, hahah

I work 8-5 M-F, and then 1 saturday per month (or every 4th, rather) 7:30-1:30. So I'm up at 6:00, leave by 7:00, and get to work just before 8:00. I never actually leave work on time though.... I could most times but I like to find a good stopping point with what I'm doing, of if I'm almost done just finish it up so I don't have to worry about it the next day. So I usually don't actually leave until 5:30-6:00. Unless I'm doing a sidejob after hours, lol... I was there until 11:45 one night last week doing a side job. Oh yea I'm an auto technician at a Ford dealership... work on pretty much everything but mostly diesels

you hourly people make me sick! I'm salaried and I HAVE to work 6 days a week and usually the 7th... I consider myself extremely lucky to get 2 days off in a week.

I work flat rate, and that can suck too sometimes. I can work all day/week long and if I have no jobs, I come home with nothing...literally. But then again I can work all week 40 hours and come home with 100 hours for the week, but that rarely ever happens, lol

thats why i love hourly, plus my boss doesnt mind if i get alot of overtime. so its pretty cool, i can in a way make my check what i want it to be. if i know im gonna be spending alot of money in the next couple weeks for some odd reason, then i canstart working longer days, going in earlier, or working saturdays. and its not THAT bad waking up at 2:45am and going in at 4am. i went to sleep lastnight i think around 10, lol. im used to it though. during the week i dont go to bed until around 11pm and i wake up at 3:45am and go in at 5am. i guess it just takes getting used to.
