Guy is a douche, no doubt, but hard to tell from this recording, he might have actually had a case if he had been paying attention.

When the cop reads out his statement, it sounds like he says he "saw the defendant's silver motorcycle..." maybe "silver & red motorcycle..."

If that's the case, and knowing the bike is sitting in the parking lot as an example, and has very little silver on it - I would bet the official registration lists red & black as the color. I would have argued that if the officer isn't capable of properly observing the situation and then transcribing the facts into his report accurately while sitting parked in a parking lot, then it brings into doubt his ability to accurately observe his speed determination system and assess that it has properly registered the speed for the vehicle he is targeting while in a moving vehicle.

but - his past record, and already admitting guilt (and being upset that his speeding wasn't greater than it was.) He probably wouldn't have gotten out of it anyway.
