I'm planning on getting a GSXR 1000 regulator to put an end to my insane electrical issues.

I can't rememeber which one to get. There's a single plug unit and a two plug unit. Does it matter? I know I'll have to wire it up myself, just wonder if either will work?

I just got a 2005 GSXR-750 R/R from a wrecked(Suprise) bike.



Mine had a plug but I cut the wires and then had a buddy sodder them together. I used some connectors that you pinch on so I could get 30miles to his house and they worked fine. But I would suggest soder. It got some pics but haven't loaded them to my computer yet.

Edit here is the picture of the wiring. I have itzip tiedfor now since I lost my drill bits for my crappy drill.

 

Smittie I'd get that so it would bolt on, the subframe helps dispensate the heat. I used a finned one off a later model F4i on my F4.

 

Wow, that thing is huge! So it doesn't matter if it's the singleconnector or double connector. I thought I read somewhere (in these forums) to get the double connector r/r.
