Michigan and Ohio State are tied for BCS/Rose Bowl. Ohio St #1 lost to unranked Illinois. Michigan already beat Iillinois.

Wolverines simply did not show up for the game against Appalachian State and lost. Oregon was the only game Wolverines lost where they showed up for the game. But neither of the games matter as far as big 10 and BCS/rose bowl matters.
As far as loosing today against Wisconsim, Michigan played the entire game without their heavy offense guns. Both Henne and Hart have been playing hurt for several games and been in and out of the game. Both were out just about the entire game. So of course Michigan offense couldn't do much w/ a novice freshman QB and no Mike Hart to run the ball.
Ohio State on the other had lost to unranked team with their full line up. No hurt players, no players not playing.

like you said, both of michigans first losses do not count toward big ten...they werent big ten games so why would they? however, they will and do count toward BCS ranking. the rose bowl bid is based on whoever wins the big ten, and everyone knows osu is going to hand carr his ticket to getting fired next week...especially after being in the position they were in and getting beat like they did tonight.[/blockquote]
