RE: Air brushed Paint Jobs........opinion.
I have to echo some already presented opinions, I think the artwork is awesome but I wouldn't have it on my bike. I prefer clean and simple with mechanical modifications for myself. That in no way influences my opinion on the quality of the work on some other bikes here. I think this opinion is shared by a lot of people, and the voting in ROTM reflects that.
ROTM isn't a contest that shows who did the best work on their bike, or the most original. It's about what catches peoples eye, and looks good to each individual. I know that some people get offended when a more *stock* bike wins or has the lead but it's a vote afterall, and the results are what they are. |
RE: Air brushed Paint Jobs........opinion.
The skills are and artwork images are incredible on manybikes on the forum.
Definatlyrequires talent.Anyone remember this guy with the spray cans?https://cbrforum.com/m_228391/tm.htm Personally, I prefer a clean look on bikes. Thats why I voted for ya Foxy. ;) |
RE: Air brushed Paint Jobs........opinion.
Simple and understated is the key (IMHO). I like a paint job that makes you have a double take..."what is that" to me is glorious. The artists, though, have more talent in their pinky than I have in my whole boddy, busy or not.

RE: Air brushed Paint Jobs........opinion.
I'm not too fond of it on vehicles. I have a Vestax PMC07 DJ mixer though that I took the faceplate off of. I took it to a local tattoo artist that airbrushes, and had him tag it to look like grafitti (sp?). It looks pretty sweet.
