Get this , just got my 2007 1000rr 3 weeks ago. Pulled it 300 miles on a trailer from Georgia to NC to spend the weekend with family and friends and do some riding.Soon as i get here "where in the hell is my keys" I forgot my bikes keys on the dressor at home. Spent all day today trying to get a key cut so i can ride tonight with no luck. My luck [sm=headbang.gif]

 

run the vin# to a local honda dealer, would immagine they could cut you one. I've done it with cars before, just show proof of ownership.

 

damn that sucks ! atleast you arent like the othe rguy on here who shipped his key in a jacket he sold to someone accross the country !

tried that they need the keys code. Which they told me i could call Honda with my vin# but guess what Honda is closed today !!

 

Oh man, that sucks real bad! Kind of like the key that got sold with the jacket, as mentioned above.

 

what about calling a diferent honda dealer . im sure there has to be atleast 1 that is open . or if all else fails hope back in yoru truck and drive another 300 miles back to pick it up

 

Spares are nice...i keep one for my car and my bike in my wallet
