just do it yourself. Take your time. I would never think about taking my car, bike somewhere unless i didnt have/and couldnt borrow, a tool i absolutly needed for the job. (Mounting low profile tires, allignment) I can mount 50 series tires and up by myself on my tire press...

i agree just take your time and don't be afraid of the job, take pride it. one thing that also helps is when you take pictures, the more you take the more you think about your next move. when you know you are going to post them it kind of makes you think about what some of the good guys and gals hear would suggest and helps you do a better job.

thanks, I really want the Repsol fairings and finally have the cash to do it. I think now would be as good a time as any to hook it up.

Definitely do it yourself. I called a local shop to see what they charged. It was $500!!

Changing the fairings is not bad, just be gentle with the tail section, the aftermarket one i got was made of pieces plastic welded together and even though it looks great its kinda brittle and i had to be very careful pulling it out over the R/R and relays. As mentioned just take your time and pay attention to how everything comes apart.
