Ok ive been postponing buying boots because i didnt know what kind to get and these websites dont provide much info on them so im askin the question again. I went down wednesday morning wearing tennis shoes and the one was immediately rippped off my foot. So basically im not gonna go riding again until i find a good pair of boots. I want some good protection but i want to be able to walk around in them as well. So whats the best solution here?? im not ridin again til i get boots so any feedback asap would be great.

 

lots of good boots out there. i love my Sidi's (lots of protection and pretty comfy).

I wear over the ankle lace-up work boot almost all the time, and unfortunately have gone down in them...twice, and they stayed on. Not saying work boots are the way to go but geez, anything but sneakers, only thing worse is flip-flops! For a day of riding...not comuting, but an all out gonna hit the roads day, I got a pair of setups. Nice boot, won't break the bank and protection. I also have a pair of nitro matrix boots, an over the ankle riding shoe/boot, toe shift pad, leather, waterproof, and you won't look like the terminator out shopping and running errands. Nitro offers a good line of good boots. Better ones out there for sure, just like anything else, but also like anything else, depends on what you plan to do and how much you want to spend.

 

i have the ICON Motorhead street boots in white. They are great and you can walk in them easily. Most of the time no one even knows they are sportbike boots because they aren't crazy colors and what not

Those boots in White are the nicest boots i seen yet....they must get dirty fast though...

They were 89.95 and are great to wear everyday in fact i do...nice ratchet over laces feature to prevent that shoelace getting stuck on the shifter thing....
