Default Advise on a 600rr i'd like to buy

This was advertised locally but seems like a sweet deal. 2003 yellow/black 600rr, near perfect cosmetically (only some slight scuffs on tail from a tipover), <5000 miles, clear title, he's the orig. owner, comes with:
-Gear: 2 helmets, jacket, pants, gloves, saddlebags, boots
-Mods already on the bike: PCIII USB, yosh rs-5 exhaust, k&n filter, sliders, flushmount signals front n back

asking 5200 for everything, should i ****** this up ASAP?? thanks

Seems like a good bike. If it is a straight bike, doesn't look like it has been laid down(other than the tip over) I would offer them $5K and see what they say. Like I said, seems like for everything you are getting it would be worth it.

You could check on NADA.com and see what they say. I know they have a section on motorcycle pricing now. Take that price, figure in some additional money for the extras on the bike and the gear and see what you come up with.

I'd rather go pick it up. That way you can see what type of person he is and hand him the cash as he hands you the title. WTF... saddle bags on a RR? How far away is it?

price jumped up to $5500 now, or so he says. I think by saddle bags he meant just like a seat or tank bag, not really side bags... It's on ebay actually, check it out:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...RK%3AMEWA%3AIT

4500 listed, but he's tellin me he's got an offer for $5500 from some other guy that's gonna pick it up tom. night... we'll see...

I got another 01 gixxer i'm lookin at local, really wanted the rr but i really gotta take what i can get at this point, seein as i'm a brokeass

that's a very reasonable price - especially considering all it comes with. your offer of $5k will probably get it. good luck!

Where are you from around Indy? And be careful about the delivery deal, don't pay until you see the bike.. I have bought a few bikes off Ebay, but recently it seems like 90% are scams. I tried to buy 4 different bikes a in February, and every single one was a scam, so just be careful man.
