Default 83 in a 55

ok here you go. i am on 95s cruising about 70 in a 55 zone on the cbr 1000. i got the non DOT german on enjoying the wind. this red mustang jumps behind me. so i dip into next lane and he follows. thinking it may be the police i stay at my speed. he follows me what seems like forever. i figure if he was the police he would have threw the lights on by now. so i am thinking this kid wants to play so i kick it up and i swear everylight on the car lit up. i was damn. so i pull over. and the first thing he says is thanks for pulling over. i gave him all the up to date paper work. he run it comes back and gives me a warning and made me change helmets. did not talk to me like a child. did not kick bike over or anything. i dont know if he ment it but he said to pass it on that if all your paper work is up to date and you dont run you woill more then likely get a warning.

wow, thats nice of him, lol.

got my first ticket on the bike today....i havent gotten a ticket in about 3 or 4 years, it was for 44 in a 25, marked down to a 34 in a 55. only 1pt and $80, but im going to go to court to see if i can get it off. i had a bad record in the past but i've since changed my driving (high risk insurance is a bitch!!!). i just took a turn a little too quick and got around it and *boom*.......he stepped out from the damn forrest and motioned for me to pull over. idk, i'll do community service, PBJ.......even thinking of getting my boss to write up a letter that i need a clean license to drive company vehical.

idk, my own damn fault......but we'll see what happens. you had some damn good luck w/ ya there though! glad you got off w/ a warning!

We have a lot of cool cops like that around here. I give them a lot of respect and they return it. As long as you're not being a complete retard (like 140 in a 35).....it's usually a warning and a ride safe gesture.

Wow, a story about a cop not being a *****. Don't see too many of those around here!

I agree with his logic though, give warnings and save thetickets for those being stupid.

The other day I was doing 75 in a 70 and a truck pulls up in my blind spot and just rides there, which I hate. So I slowed down to 70 hoping he would pass but he didn't so I kicked it up to 80 and he still stayed there. Finally I slowed down to 55 because I really hate someone in my blind spot and he passed. Turns out it was a cop in a truck, which surprised me.

That didn't happen where I live.
