I have an 07 600RR and I have to say I think its the best bike ever made (a little bias maybe??) at 6'2 you'll be fine on it. I am 6' even and have plenty of room. Power is awesome and the bike just takes corners like it is supposed to.(had to be like classic and throw a smiley in there)I agree with the statement someone else said about you riding either bike to its full potential... Only a few people could do that and commuting to work sure isn't gonna be the way to get the max out of the bike

Sorry to say btrollope, but I don't believe a word you say about wheelies in every gear... If you have a video to back it up then I will gladly admit you proved me wrong, but my 600RR only Power wheelies in 1st and 2nd ifI try (sitting down). One foot on the back brake and the other one the passenger peg... can ride wheelies all day in 3rd... but 4th, 5th, and 6th is just NOT going to happen...

But anyways don't take my opinion of the 600RR to heart and go buy just because we all told you to. Ride them both and pick the one that's best for you.. Good luck with whatever you decide and be sure to post up some pics when you do..

AAaaahh, the question that never ends... Ok, the answer is...

600rr. Unless you are over 6'-4", fitment shouldn't be an issue. As far as power, once you ride one, I'm sure you will agree that it has plenty. When you're ready to upgrade, go for it. My suggestion is to go with one that's an '05 or newer. Preferably an '07 IMO.

If they're too pricey for you, go with an '01 to '03 F4i. Or, if you want to go bigger, a 929 or a 954.

Basically, there is no answer. Only questions. LOL.
