44 1/2 hours and its only wed

Anyone else do some insane hours? I manage a paving crew, and so far this week I have put in 44 1/2 hours and will probably do at least 28 more the next two days. I can handle 60 but this 70+ hours a week is going to kill me.

and on a side note I put my cane on ebay and have 28 watchers, and two people who have emailed me locally saying they want it. My wife is even excited, she wanted to know if the 07's came in black and silver to match the rest of my gear

Yeah man I'm a retail sales manager for a cell phone store and for about 2 months I worked 7 days a week... I worked 58 days straight without an off day...Even now I work about 60 hours a week...

Do you get hourly? If you do then quit your bitchin! I'm salaried... if I work 35 hours I get paid the same as when I worked 70. I'm always pissed at the assistant managers cuz they get to work hourly... you end up making way more money hourly than you do salaried mang...

I had 28 hours already when I clocked in Monday morning! Being on-call sucks, but the money is killer. I don't have a day off until the 10th - that'll be my 21st day in a row.

I'll prolly round the week off with 70 hours on Sunday night.

no way man I'm only 23 and making almost triple the nation average for income for a family of four... I wouldn't quit this unless it killed me. When I'm 35, I'll retire :)

I'm a lineman , and as such we are exempt from many of the laws that dictate things like how many hours one can work in a week, how many hours the large trucks can be driven, ect. This is because such a large and weather susceptable infrastucture isn't easily maintained by the few of us that there are.At certain times of the year it's not uncommon to 80+ hrs a week. My income is augmented by at least 1/3 per year due to overtime.

when i was a gm at a domihos, i had to work insanely like that, thats why i quit that ****....even when i was assistant i was working 65+, of course i didnt mind making 12/hr for OT delivering as an assistant and racking up $10-15/hr off tips.

now i sit at a desk and do almost nothing, but i still deliver.

I'm a CPA who does taxes, so from Jan-April 15th i'm pretty busy. The end of March and beginning of April this year i was working 7 days a week and doing roughly 70+ hours. Pay your taxes, beotches!

21 years old doing Air Traffic..working about 7-8 hours a day 5 days a week. Then for a while I was putting in about 40 for an under-the-counter paid job, for a total of around 70-80 hours a week. It wore me out.. as soon as I got my bike I just quit the second job, even though the money was nice, now I have time to ride [8D]
