Default 40 years of bike riding

Yep, 40 years & about 1 hour ago I took my 1st ride on a motorcycle (a Honda), two weeks later I got my 1st bike. So I'm feeling proud & privileged (& incredibly old) for being so lucky to have done it, & still be here relatively unscathed. So tonight I'm going to celebrate in the time honoured traditional Australian way, that means drinking beer. (hey, that means everynight is a celebration)
Cheers Yacahns

You're not necessarily old, it depends on when you started riding.

Congrats and enjoy.

What I can't understand is how you were able to work on your bike and find other riders without cell phones, internetz and puters...

It is crazy man.

In 68:

MLK Jr. Assasinated.
Nixon elected US president
US troops were still in Vietnam
The wheel was invented
Australia's first casino license was granted
The Who was escorted from a departing Sydney flight for, "bad behavior"

Congrats on long riding career - from the middle of the States I'd wish ya another 40 but I'm just not sold on the idea of seeing an overweight 80 year old Aussie with plumbers crack on an otherwise sexy F3.

Take care buddy - ride safe
