I had problems liking this movie. I couldn't get over the fact that it seemed incredibly homosexual. The entire movie was guys running around shirtless, screaming, and sticking long pointy things in each other.

Yea the movie was frickin awesome. It's no doubt on my favorites list. I love the line in the beginning when the persian messenger turns to Leonidas, after his wife Gorgo said somethingandasks why is a woman talking amoung men. She says "Because only Spartan women give birth to REAL men!" Friggin classic.

This movie is the best of the best of the man of war types.
The fight scenes are what I'd expect from hone warrior killing machines.
Every scene in the movie looks so photographic it's awesome.
For those that think they all look homo, get real. Do you think some "gay" *** skinny village punk can lift them shields like that back in the days?
Iron IS iron and bronze IS bronze back in the day and they weigh a ton. Training and carry that stuff will get you some sort of results.
BTW yes the majority of the ancient mediterranean states back then were HOMOs, it's a historical fact. Greeks were gay, Spartans were gay, Trojans were gay, Romans were gay. Talking about the armies mainly here.
It's not that they were gay it's just that those States /countries were a free "love" ... loving countries, if thats any excuse...to anyone.
Anyways if you loved 300 like I did you should also see/buy/rent ... TROY (Brad Pitt) ... awesome fight scenes too.....and Alexander the Great (Collin Ferral) The DVD you buy has a different format retelling the movie and messing up the movie...best if seen at the theater or in original theater format.

Being strong doesnt make you non-gay.
People that think that having hardly any cloths on need to get over their selves. Thats how they clothed themselves. Its not like they're grabbing their peskys and waving them in the air.
Heck the slave/warriors that fought in the collusium were naked. The guys in ancient olympics were nude.
