cant wait to see this movie. they had one of the guys that actually went to MIT, that the movie is based on...on a local radio station. they made so much money, and NOTHING they did was technically illegal. cant wait to see how many people flock to Vegas after this movie comes out.

RE: "21"
I read the book maybe 10 years ago. Good book. The movie will probably be pretty good, but they can't follow the book which is fine because each person in that crew (or crews) had a story. The book really concentrated on the team process, which is interesting to read, but for you average movie watcher would be boring.
It all has to do with making a movie watchable, it isn't a documentary so they don't have to hold true to the truth. The lead is probably an amalgam of a few guys to give the full effect of what happened plus a littleHollywood storytelling to make it watchable.
I just dont understand how they can focus on one member of the "team"?

went last night to see this movie, what a great movie. Don't think what they did would fly in corporate Vegas nowaday's. It seems today's vegas as soonas u startmakin money on tables like they did red flag's would be flying. What a team effort they had going,i wish i was that smart.

I really want to see it.
They never did anything illegal. But a casino will gladly walk you out the front door.
I read a book a few years ago on gambling (tips & tricks). And he had a buddy who was cought counting cards in a casino. Well they put him in a limo (the trunk ) and took him to the air port. Told him never to come back. This was in the 60's. Now I think they will just tell you to leave.
