No real details yet. Just that all dealers were told by BMW to halt all sales and deliveries of the 2012 BMW s1000rr. Including any bikes paid for but not picked up yet.

All there is right now is speculation. But some 2012 owners have reported con rod issues, requiring warrantee work. Some before the 600 mile first service.

Being a 2011, Yolie is fine. She's still at the shop waiting for the insurance adjuster

Forums tend to make small problems seem a lot bigger and widespread than they really are. If it was really that big of an issue, tow trucks all over the country would be bringing '12 s1krrs into shops. It's funny how that thread on the S1 forum is blowing up, bunch of dumbass sheep panicking at the drop of a rumor. I'll worry about it when there's actually something to worry about.
