Default 2008 CBR1000RR EUROPEAN RELEASE! Rate it!

POLL:
On a scale of 1-10 (1 being worst, 10 being best), rate the appearance of the new 1000RR

2008 CBR1000RR/Fireblade.

These pics are from the Honda Italy site. The link was posted on another thread by 05RR. Honda America has updated their "Dream Machine" website with the newer powersport models, but STILL no 1000RR update on the American site yet. I took some screen shots of the 3D Flash animation from the Italy site, as well as the online brochure. Here are the links to both.......

POWER: (converted from pic below) - 175.27 horsepower

Here's some pictures I pulled from the 3D Flash Animation & Brochure...........

Looking at it directly from the side..........it's flipping ugly. But all the other views, it actually doesn't look that bad. Though, the front between the headlights and the windscreen is a little plain though.

The new thread looks nice Fox!

I mean, it doesn't look tooooo bad. On a scale from 1-10, 1 being the worst/10 being the best, I'd give it like a 4. Honda USED to set themselves apart from the rest of the crowd...not anymore.

Yep. I made the mistake of falling asleep at 5 pm, and waking up at midnight.........now I can't get back to sleep and I have to work at 9 am. I just beat Halo 3 about an hour ago, so there really isn't anything else for me to do right now than clog up the forum with my worthless posts (and I just realized that I'm on the top 10 posters list WOOOO!). I'm coming for you vpsophmore!

I think that it's okay, but the front end looks retarded. I mean that literally, too. If you look at the front end of abike sort of as the face of a person (meaning the headlights are eyes, mirrors are ears, etc.), it has the facial features of a mongoloid-lol! Notice the huge forehead, doe eyes, and dumbo ears (well, maybe the last oneisn't considered a mongoloid feature per se, but it doesn't help).

I like that it isn't as geometric as the current bike, the turn signals in the mirrors is a plus too. The tail is kinda ugly, too skinny. The exhaust looks too bulky, but I like a side exhaust...Fonzie and Brando had a side exhaust. I like it better than the current bike which looks like a toy.

I just noticed that those mirrors look like they are in a fixed position, meaning it doesn't look like they could be tucked in when on a trailer or something. Hmmmm. I'm going to have to look into that.

Not too bad... I think the change is kind of like the one between the 06 and 07 600; It has to grow on you.

Hopefully, like with it's smaller sibling, the radical facelift has a radical improvement in riding dynamics as well.
