......and smarts. I use to stand on the saddle like that on my CB350 years ago. I didn't have much smarts back then. At 16 years old I thought it was OK to stand on the bike at 45 MPH while waving at my friends with cameras. I had a bandanna (no helmet), cut off jeans, no sox and no shirt. I use do do this while riding on the crown of a crowned road until one day the bike drifted right and I went down. I slid on my back and got road rash real bad. It could been a lot worse (
Indian Larry). When my mother got home from work she used a pillow case as a bandade for my back.
I also use to slid off th eback of the bike at 60 MPH in the rain and hang on to the tail of the bike. I would hydroplane with an old pair of sneekers. One day I ahd a newer pair on and the bike came all the way down to 10 MPH before I could get back on. That was a close one and put an end to that little trick. At 53 years old I now stay put in the saddle and look for dogs and bad drivers.
